  4. Once they are done, move the pretty hearts to a cooling tray. Paint over the strawberries and if you want to garnish, garnish with some chopped or silvered pistachios
  5. Serve immediately!

Brush the edges of the heart with beaten egg then place another heart on top. Use a fork to prick the interior of the puff pastry. If desired, brush the beaten egg along the edge of the puff pastry.
