You can make the batter with rice flour too, but the results aren't as good as when you soak and grind rice. in a mixing bowl, take maida, besan flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, cardamom (crushed), cumin seed, pulimav, sugar, baking soda, water (as required), and salt to. Prepare a batter with flour, sugar, cumin seeds and yellow colour. Dip the slices of banana in the batter and fry it in the refined oil.

  1. Cut bananas into four pieces lengthwise then mix gram flour, rice flour, salt and turmeric powder, chilli powder garlic ginger paste with water to make semi thick dough.
  2. Place a pan on the stove and switch on the stove,Add oil into the pan.
  3. When the oil gets heated, dip each banana piece in the dough and put it in the oil When both sides get a golden brown color, take it out. Put it over a tissue paper so that excess oil will be absorbed by the tissue paper.pazhampori is ready to serve

Banana slices are coated in an all-purpose flour batter and then deep fried. Serve pazham pori as an evening snack with chai or filter coffee. This is the snack most of the Malayalis who live outside Kerala get nostalgic of. Ripe ethappazham is sliced thinly and is coated in a mixture of maida, rice flour, water, sugar and a pinch of salt and is deep fried in coconut oil. But the combo recieves wide acceptance.
