The ingredients needed to make Garlic knots:
  1. Get Ball of Fresh Pizza Dough
  2. Take Garlic
  3. Take Fresh Parsley
  4. Prepare Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  5. Make ready Salt and Pepper
  6. Prepare Parmesan cheese

Brush the knots with the egg, and sprinkle the rosemary and garlic onto the knots. Bake the knots according to the package directions. While knots bake, grate the garlic cloves using a Microplane and combine with olive oil and butter in a small sauce pan over low heat. Cook just until butter has melted and mixture is warmed.

Steps to make Garlic knots:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the ball of dough on a floured surface and cut it ½ inch strips. Form the knots from each strips and place them on the parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown, meanwhile make the oil.
  4. In a small food processor, add the garlic, oil and parsley, blend until smooth.
  5. Immediately out of the oven add the knots to a large bowl and pour over the garlic oil, season with a little salt and pepper and toss together until they are well coated in the garlic oil.
  6. Notes- I used minced garlic, and Italian seasoning, with a cheap just add water pizza dough. It didn’t make much as you can see….. from the one bag…. I do have an easy recipe for pizza dough, but for this I didn’t have the time to make it and I had the bag of pizza dough to use up anyway.
  7. Add some parmesan cheese when tossing in the oil mixture….

Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Immediately after baking, brush the baked knots with the garlic mixture and sprinkle with kosher salt. Stir in the rest of the butter until melted, then add basil and salt and turn off the heat. Right before baking the knots, spread them with half of the butter-garlic mixture. The knots will rise a little more during this time.
