- Take raw banana
- Get coriander seeds
- Get urad dal

Add tomatoes, spinach, dal and ground sambhar powder. Add a cupr or so of the drained Spinach water. Like any traditional ayurvedic cuisine that is referred as "Food is Medicine & Medicine is food", this is also one such food grain. Remove from the cooker and transfer the same to another vessel.
Instructions to make Banana Spinach sambhar:
- Assemble all the Ingredients
- Heat a pan, add 2 spoons coconut oil, add fenugreek seeds, urad dal and chana dal. Little fry them.
- Add coriander seeds and byadigi chillies. Mix and little fry them
- Add jeera seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida and mix.
- Add curry leaves and mix.
- Finally add grated coconut and mix. Switch off the flame.
- Cool the mixture,and grind into paste by adding water.
- Add tamarind and grind them
- Grinded masala ready.
- Add salt
- Add boiled dal and mix well.
- Add grinded masala
- Add small piece Jaggery,and check for salt and adjust.
- Heat coconut oil mustard, red chilli,when mustard splutters, and add curry leaves
- Pour over the prepared sambar. And switch off the flame.
- Finally add little coriander leaves.
- Serve with hot rice
